With regards to the information issued on March 5 concerning the tender offer to purchase any or all of its outstanding 2002 and 2006 U.S. private placement notes, Ciments Francais was informed that Noteholders holding more than 50% of the notes of both issuances have indicated that they will tender their notes. The expiration time of the tender offer has been extended to midnight, New York City time, on Wednesday, April 7, 2010.
The Company will announce the results of the offer promptly following the expiration time.
