Ciments Français operates in Thailand since 1998 through Jalaprathan Cement Company (JCC), which was established in 1956 by the Royal Irrigation Department for the construction of Bhumiphol dam, the first multipurpose concrete dam in Thailand. JCC has its grinding centers in Takli and Cha-am.In 1999 the Group increased its presence in Thailand becoming a shareholder of Asia Cement Company (ACC), founded in 1989 and operating in the domestic market with a cement plant in Pukrang, one of the most important plants in the world. In 2003 JCC and ACC decided to exploit their synergies in order to improve the management and service general efficiency. As the company reorganization is concluded, the two companies are now managed by one direction but still remain two separate legal persons. In 2005 the affiliates ACP and JCP adopted a similar reorganization process to integrate their resources in the ready-mixed concrete sector.CEMENT PLANTS LOCATION
